2 Day Course Covering:Types of decisions which may be challenged.
Errors of law, a material irrational finding of fact or clear error of fact or of precedent fact.
Use of legitimate expectation: difficulties in showing “estoppel“.
Disclosure/ Fair hearing/Article 6.
The aim of this course is to increase delegates knowledge in a public law area practised by Chambers and help in accessing provision of some extra materials from the European Court and also some valuable Irish and Scottish cases.
Multi-disciplinary review of cases using Prison and Parole Board Guidance, as
well as statutory sources.
Unique position of foreign national prisoners and deportation overlap.
